The Saturday Night Slant is a great place to get the latest scoop on LSU Sports and Recruiting. Since early 2009, SNS has been providing its readers with quality analysis, insight, and news.
Don't have time or desire to sift through websites and message boards to get the latest scoop? Well, you don't have to. All you need to do is read this site. I post just often enough to keep you well informed. Hopefully, you'll even entertain me with some feedback from time to time.
Here are a few tips to help you find your way around the site.
- Recruiting Pages: Some of the links along the top menu bar will take you to some familiar pages. I update some of these pages frequently, so check them often. The Recruiting Pages are the same as the old site with the Big Board, Commitments, and my Louisiana State Rankings.
- Archives: My old articles are still archived under the "Archives" and can be referenced at any time.
- Roster Breakdown: You'll also note a new feature called "Roster Breakdown" which breaks out the roster for Football, Basketball, Baseball. Currently, football is set up. The others will be up soon. This is a feature I think you will all really like.
- Contact: Lastly, there is a Contact form if you ever want to e-mail me regarding anything.
I've also got plenty of features on the sidebars of the site.
- Follow SNS: First, you have easy access to the Slant's Facebook and Twitter pages, along with an RSS feed. Feel free to hit the buttons and visit those pages. Become a fan of the Facebook page or a follower on Twitter. I think you'll really enjoy it if you utilize either of those services. If you don't, they are free and it's worth signing up for them in order to follow the Slant.
- SNS Newsletter: For those of you that like to be notified of new posts via e-mail, this is where you sign up. You simply enter in your name and e-mail address, and you're all set. This was a very popular feature at the old site, and I hope it will be again.
- Bloguin Roll: There is the Bloguin roll which brings up a quick list of all the other sites on the Bloguin Network.
- Search SNS: Search for key words or topics on the site.
- SNS Twitter Updates: This shows the last three Twitter Updates. If you don't follow snslant on Twitter, you can see what you're missing by checking here.
- Latest On Bloguin: This shows you the most recent posts around the Bloguin network. I recommend hitting the NCAA tab and finding the latest about college athletics.
